Aftercare & What to expect
Your tattoo will begin to scab and peel during this time and it is extremely important for you to not touch it, pick at it, remove it, or induce any trauma as the ink is still depositing. Prematurely removing any scabs will result in great pigment loss and scarring.
Make sure you follow these instructions carefully to ensure the best results. The care of your tattoo is your own responsibility as soon as you step out of my studio.
No sweating during the healing process. Avoid any trauma to the brows (shower water hitting your brows, sleeping on stomach, be careful taking shirt off, etc). No products on the brows. Avoid direct sunlight. Avoid all bodies of water. Keep it clean. Let it peel naturally.

What will the 14 days after look like?
Day 1:
- Your brows will appear dark and thick, and may be red from the procedure.
- They may appear swollen and uneven, and are sensitive and painful.
- You might be thinking "oh no, what have I done?" or that all you see is a big block of dark pigment across your forehead.
- This is all a normal part of the healing process.
- Use a dampened paper towel to gently blot away any fluids you see collecting on top of your brows.Days 2-3:
- Your brows will have darkened more and more as the days go by. They will be slightly raised and textured.
- There should not be any peeling of the brows yet.Days 4-6:
- Your brows are now even darker and even more raised and textured.
- You may begin to see some cracking.
- Some tiny chips may have flaked off, but nothing major.
- They might also be beginning to itch now. Resist the urge! -
STARTING DAY 4 - You may begin usage of the ointment provided, 2-3 a day, for the next week. Use very little - a rice grain amount for both the brows is more than enough.
Days 7-14:
- Brows should be itchy.
- They are healing and slowly flaking off on their own.
- The skin you see underneath the scabbing should be 30-40% lighter than the initial tattoo. Some parts might appear lighter than others. Uneven coloring is normal and is addressed at your initial touchup.
- Once the brows have peeled completely, you may be feeling like your brows are too light. It may also appear to have a light pink sheen over it. This is new skin that is still healing.
- Once the skin is completely healed over the next week or two, they will slowly return to its true color density.Failure to follow aftercare instructions WILL result in poor results.
